x factor
So many talent shows are there for the watching on British TV and it gets a little monotonous watching so many and so much reality TV. I was however, drawn to The American Idol today as my son happened to be watching it and I must say that the American contestants were so much better the the UK contestants I have seen preciously on Pop Idol and X Factor. I hate the way these shows humiliate people but have noticed that in the UK many of the contestants are only there for a laugh and set themselves up for a tongue lashing and humiliation but in America they seem to genuinly believe they are talented before they put themselves in a position to be thrashed by the panel. It just goes to show that although we are all the same in some ways ... in others we are so very different in different countries around the world |
